Bermuda Triangle Research - Room 3

The vicinity of the Bermuda Triangle is amongst the most heavily travelled shipping lanes in the world, with ships frequently crossing through it for ports in the Americas, Europe and the Caribbean islands. Cruise ships and pleasure craft regularly sail through the region, and commercial and private aircraft routinely fly over it.

The Bermuda Triangle is a mythical section of the Atlantic Ocean roughly bounded by Miami, Bermuda and Puerto Rico where dozens of ships and air planes have disappeared.

In all probability, however, there is no single theory that solves the mystery. As one sceptic put it, trying to find a common cause for every Bermuda Triangle disappearance is no more logical than trying to find a common cause for every automobile accident in Arizona.Bermuda Triangle - Wikipedia

Task Description:
Today room 3 was researching on the 'Bermuda Triangle'. This Bermuda triangle is one of the most hardest things to learn about. You have to find all the different things to do with it and why True or False?
This information is from these sites:
Have a read of these information and also watch the video's on the sites. :)

Choose It Narrative Writing Test

Begin Writing Here:

One day it was Christmas, but also my best friend's Birthday. Her name is Amelia.
That day all my friend’s were at my house, except for the Birthday Girl ( Amelia ).
We were at my house because we wanted to plan something for Amelia’s birthday.
We had a problem. The problem was that, of course it was Amelia’s birthday, but
it was  also Christmas day at the same time. We had to make a solution. At first
we were planning on what to do for Amelia’s birthday. Second we had a problem and
now we need to make a solution. Hmmmmmmm?  Says one of the members of BFF’s!!
What if we make a christmas present for Amelia’s Birthday. Yes, Yes! Says another member of our
Bff groups.  Great idea!  Says the leader of the group.

3 of  the members were making their own christmas present for Amelia’s birthday, each of us members
were done with the christmas present for our best friend. We were ready to give our present to our best
friend, But then we forgot one more thing, what? What did we forget about? Say one of the members.
We forgot to wear a nice costume for Christmas Day and Amelia’s Birthday. Says the leader.
Ohhhhhhhh! Says the same member, again. Well then Let's get ready!!! Says the quietest member in our
group. We were finally ready to give our own Christmas present to Amelia on her birthday. We all walked
down to her house with Joy and surprised her with our christmas present. She was Excited, Happy and
had goosebumps all over her hands and legs. We knew she was going to open the presents up straight
away. Amelia jumped up and down as hard as she could with joy and was really grateful for us giving
christmas presents on her 12th year old Birthday. Me and my friends all asked her if she was allowed to
come with us to have 3 scoops of crispy jumbo ice cream, for each one of us. When she heard that we all
said 3 scoops of crispy jumbo ice cream for ourselves she knew it was going to be nice. So then she rushed
to her parents and asked them if she could go out with her friends because it was her birthday. Of course
her parents wouldn't say ‘NO!!!’ because it was her birthday and also they knew we were her best friends
since we were all little girls. So then her parents said, Yes! Of course you can go out with your friends!
Says Amelia’s dad. Make sure you guys are safe and don’t get runned over by a car!! Says the Mum!
OK! Says Amelia rushing out the door, We will stay safe! Bye love you! Says Amelia to her parents while
shutting the door with excitement. Me and my friends (including the birthday girl) went to buy our own
3 scoops of crispy jumbo of ice cream and went back home with fun and exhausting feelings. That was
the best day of my life! Says all the members of that  together on the next day.

The End!

The Atmosphere

Malo E lelei and welcome back to my Blog. Today me and my class was working about the Atmosphere. Here is a image that I drawled using Google drawings for our work. These are layers of Atmosphere. We can live in Troposphere because it is the Air we breath in, and is the closest to the Earth we live in.  We cannot live in Exosphere because there are no air for us to breath in, and it is very cold. It is also in the very edge of our Atmosphere. Hope you enjoyed this task and found interesting facts about our Atmosphere. Have a wonderful day!!!

Taha Wairua- Spiritual wellbeing

Today for our study on Te Wahre Tapa Wha  we are looking at Taha Wairua. This is to do with our Spiritual wellbeing. There are many ways people show Taha Wairua. we talked about this and came up with the list:
-people pray in Public and in Private
- some people dress a certain way to show their Spiritual well being - what they believe in
- Read and live by a certain set of guidelines: Bible, Qua ran, etc
- Sign or Symbols made with their hands, in jewellery, clothing etc
what other ways can you think of?

Today our activity was to create a card to bless another person from our bubble, to make their spirit their Taha Wairua Stronger.

Here is a card that I had created for my sister Emma, to make her feel blessed about Spiritual well being.
