In 1972 30,000 signature were delivered to safeguard the Maori language.
*Safeguard means to protect. The Maori language needed to be protected
Why? *3 reasons why I think the Maori language needed to be protected.
So that it can still be in the future!
So that the language won’t be lost and just fade away!
And that we can learn and enjoy the lovely culture of the Maori language!
